Would it be possible to stumble upon passerby's who would "help her our" rather than stop her in her tracks? Not everyone would stop an exhibitionist and her dreams. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Been reading some of your posts and I'm impressed with what been done so far but I thought of some things I wanted to mention:
Instead of running out of time being an immediate game over / fail state perhaps have the difficulty increase:
Additional NPC's spawn and all NPC's gain better visual detection ability seeing as its daytime ... So not to make this an an infinite loop perhaps the character could faint from exhaustion if out for to long (maybe an extra 5 minutes on easy difficulty, 2 and a half minutes on normal difficulty and a 1 minute on hard difficulty)
I figure you have already considered multiple options to accelerate the growth of the character arousal - sex toys and specific clothing (using the term clothing loosely here - anything that can technically be worn does not necessarily need to cover up anything ... like shibari as an example) but perhaps remaining fairly close to NPC's back in revealing / no clothing could cause it to increase faster.
Ran into some problems with the 'find your clothing' scenario:
The black shirt spawned on a dark colored patch of ground which meaning finding it was more luck then anything else - perhaps have the clothing spawn draped over objects instead or have something that makes them easier to find when you get close like the animation around the keys item in the 'find your keys' scenario.
Another bug in the 'find your clothes ' that occurred was if you find a character over outfit piece and wear it first then you cannot equip the under outfit item if you find it later - in this case I found the skirt item before the panties and could not equip the panties or remove the skirt to equip the panties followed by reequipping the skirt ... guessing an unexpected logic interaction as normally the character has to strip the outer layer before the under layer.
Another suggestion, but one that may be unpopular:
Let me preface this with the fact the following does not particularly interest me but I think it may be a decent match for the games themes as this sometimes shows up in other media with an exhibitionism core theme.
Low Watersports - In so far as the player character urinates - not the other examples of that fetish.
Some of the ways I was thinking this could work is:
In one of the modes the character needs to complete a risky objective but the stress / heath bar does not regenerate over time. Choosing to urinate (a once per level action) instead of masturbate would quickly restore the characters stress / health bar and maybe allow the level to be beaten.
On non objective based levels as the characters stress / health bar is diminished the characters bladder fills up (functionally the same as the masturbation bar - can only use it for extra score once a minimum amount has been filled).
Choosing to do so is a non interruptible action that gives increased score normally along with a bonus multiplier depending on how exposed the character is - however NPC will detect a urinating character immediately if spotted (compared to the varying degrees of nudity causing varying amounts of detection rate (AKA risk vs Reward - more effort and risk required for a higher reward, as in a higher score).
In addition perhaps limiting the option to perform the action to when the character is squatting / crawling would make more sense and also forgetting to remove the character underwear / some over clothing before performing the action would have negative repercussions like a negative score instead of a positive one or treated as detected / fail state if the stress / health bar is two low as possible examples.
I hope this helps some Linux Users: The latest verion (2) has issues with the lighting being too dark on certain graphics cards if run directly through Wine. However, the lighting issues are not a problem if using Proton instead. I have Roshutsu added as a "Non-Steam Game" in my Steam Library and it works perfectly using various Proton versions.
Just go to Games > Add a Non-Steam game to My Library to add it. You may need to go to Settings > Steam Play > "Enable Steam Play for all other titles" to enable Proton on Non-Steam games, I haven't tested that.

Compliments to the dev. The exhibition genre pretty underrepresented right now but offers a lot of gameplay opportunities.
I'd like to ask which direction you want to take this game. You cited Hitman as one of your inspirations, but going back a bit further, a Tony Hawk style progression system makes perfect sense for this kind of game (and to be honest, the modern Hitman achievements since Absolution are basically Tony Hawk likes). Basically, every map has a checklist of goals, which can be straight up score runs, but also something more specific goals like "Lead this specific character for x meters/to this location", "Scatter this specific group of punks and get away successfully", "Get the attention of this super persistent character and survive for at least x hours", "Level x Orgasm at this hard to reach spot", or "Drop clothing at a variable amount of predetermined spots" (with later maps probably requiring a larger amount of pieces than the standard outfit has) - you can go nuts there. Every goal credits you with a set amount of points, and reaching certain milestones unlocks goodies, cosmetics, and eventually more maps with their own set of goals.
On the technical side of things, do the NPCs have schedules? As far as I can see, they seem to walk on determined routes, but kinda randomly so. For this kind of game, that would be one of the things I'd tackle early since this would be one of the way to give the maps character, and would also set up a lot of achievements that require (at least some) reliable NPCs.
This is making fantastic progress! Following comments are not criticisms, you are seriously working on this and it shows.
I see you are working on crouching/crawling which is exciting, any ideas of interacting with the environment in such a way that clothing is lost/damaged? Like climbing over some of the short fences, or running through some of the areas that have a lot of plants/branches?
Any thoughts on adding in some body customization options for Rika down the road, like hair color or breast size?
I still don't know where the cameras are though.....
an amazing game, but i am confused on a few things. i have yet to see a camera, despite the achievements saying they are apparently around. secondly, Rika doesn't seem to orgasm after masturbating, especially while "assisted" by the player. the arousal bar just drops faster, but she doesn't seem to make any "O face" or heavy breathing, or anything. Also, you might consider adding in some toys as a final touch to the game. really get that extra factor during masturbation sessions. Might be beneficial to add in. i mean, unless those were planned features anyhow. in which case, good on ya, man.

For those asking for a Linux build, this would eventually be helpful, but right now the game does work well using Wine on Linux, I assume it would work well with Wine under Mac OS as well.

This is probably the best porn game I've ever seen! Lots of games have porn pacing issues like visual novels and rpgs where you have to either read a lot or lose the game to get to the porn stuff, and then it doesn't last long enough to do anything, but this is probably the perfect way to fix those issues.
The gameplay is legitimately fun as a stealth game, and the gameplay naturally allows the player to jack to and to create situations that are erotic. The points system also rewards the player for making the most exciting situations and pulling off risky maneuvers. Combine that with the clock and the need to return and escape the scene makes it so so good as a stealth game reminiscent of Hitman! (it's like that other anime stealth game that is inspired by hitman but better). I've been very very surprised to have discovered how engaging this game is and how much potential it has moving forwards. This is awesome!
I can't wait to see what interesting conditions and goals the player will face in the full release. (Sorry for writing an essay, I was just legitimately inspired by how good this is as a porn game).
I've found most porn games have a disconnect between the porn and gameplay, to the point where you could remove one without affecting the other much. My goal was to make a game that blends the porn into the game.
Hitman is indeed one of my inspirations for this game. The detection indicator—as it is now—is based largely on it, along with having to escape the scene. I plan to have open-ended environments like in Hitman that provide multiple ways to play out exhibitionism/ENF scenarios, such as crossing an pedestrian overpass nude or depositing all your clothes in a laundromat

And if you want to support linux and/or mac, you can always ask peoples on mac or linux to test the game and report bugs.
You can also install a linux(It’s free and not that complicated), of course for mac it’s more complicated because of the new mac with the M1 and the old ones with Intel, and the fact that the best testing env for mac is a mac… whitch is not cheap.
I can play to the game on linux using wine, but as I know games run really better when they are build for linux(and not run inside an emulator)
Are you able to change any settings? I can only change the resolution, display mode and language. Everything else is greyed out, like the graphics, audio and censorship settings.
This game is already really fun and looks so promising. I'm excited about where it's gonna go.
btw I think it would be nice to use the points you get as currency. Maybe just add a store section to the closet for now and add some more underwear options or revealing clothing or like a swimsuit
The location is good! It reproduces a local city in Japan quite realistically.
It's also nice that the player can choose the situation. However, it is not realistic for a passerby to go unnoticed by the girl standing behind him when he looks back.
I hope all the animations, expecially masturbate animation, and the character voice will be updated soon because that's the most important aspect, for me at least.
Ah, also there's a bug when you remove all the clothes, and then pick up all the clothes, the excitement bar still increased. Or... maybe that's how the game work?
I've been holding off on animations because I wanted to get a new player model done first; I didn't want to have to redo animations. The new girl is almost finished, but she still needs some more work.
You can gain arousal being partially undressed, and you will keep any built-up arousal when putting on clothes.
I think I have a couple of ideas that can help you with the game, they are inspired by Metal Gear Solid 2 that has a scene similar to your game
-In addition to moving crouching you can try to add moving on the floor crawling or dragging to hide behind walls or small objects even enter tight places
-You can try hitting yourself against a wall and moving forward both standing and crouching, this could help the player to move through small places or to be stealthy
-Finally to improve stealth you can add walking and running as in MGS, where walking prevents the NPCs from hearing you nearby but if you run you will alert them by the noise of footsteps
They are just ideas that I had, you can try them if they serve you in any way and I hope I have helped you
I know which scene you're talking about: the sequence when Raiden has to sneak around naked. Metal Gear is definitely a great source of ideas for stealth mechanics, but I have a lot of other things that need to be done as well. Improving the stealth is on my to-do, but thank you for your suggestions!

You can disable the censor in options. I have no plans for customization of the girl aside from her outfit (or lack thereof) to limit the scope of the game and keep it feasible.

I'm sure it's already been suggested, but I really like the idea of facemasks/wigs you could wear to reduce shame loss/notoriety. Perhaps as a buyable item in the story mode. Either way, really looking forward to seeing more!
There will be more maps in the future, but I am focusing on fleshing out the core mechanics first. And there will be an option to disable the censor added, but it is a low priority at the moment.

The controls are on the itch.io page. The in-game options for them has not yet been implemented.

That's the plan: clothes will be purchasable along with upgradeable skills from the points you earn in story mode in the next major update.
