Changelog: pre-alpha.1.3.0 — Settings and Feedback


Sticking to a routine is important! I've broken my routine and as a consequence, lost valuable time and progress. Moving forward, I will shift my release schedule to every other Friday, starting from today.

This release adds two features that will become more important as the game is developed: the settings screen and a feedback form. The settings is limited at the moment, only capable of changing display mode, resolution, vsync, and language.  There will be a setting to disable the censorship in the near future.

The feedback form lets you send anonymous feedback to my internal project board. I'm open to receiving all sorts of general feedback, suggestions, and bug reports you may have. I will read them all!

A minor gameplay addition has been the introduction to the instaloss difficulty. With this difficulty, you lose immediately the moment you are spotted by someone. It is only a self-imposed challenge at the moment, but it will be expanded upon in the future.

I have been working in the background on getting a new character model, and she should hopefully appear in the next release.  Follow me on Twitter for more updates. Changelog

  • Change color space from gamma to linear.
  • Increase the brightness of the scene to make it easier to see.
  • Add Discord server to social media bar on the title screen.
  • Create settings menu to adjust resolution, display mode, vsync, and language. This will be expanded upon in the future. The language buttons have been removed as they are now obsolete.
  • Add "Send Feedback" button underneath version number. This lets you send feedback—including suggestions and bug reports—from in-game.
  • Add instaloss difficulty: you lose as soon as you're seen.
